
Texas, Religion & Murder is a contemporary incarnation of the tall tales spun by cowboys around the campfire, framed in the context of real and legendary Texas figures and is told with humor, folk songs and epic narration. Will Baker, a Dallas minister and partner of Kevin, suffers from amnesia due to injuries from an unexplained beating. He discovers that he had disappeared years earlier in Amarillo, leaving behind a wife and baby, and returns to Amarillo to re-establish contact with his family. Searching for clues about his disappearance, Will is accused of the murder of a teenager who vanished the same night.
